Made by Heidi G.
I used the horsehead bust to make a hat. I dressed up as my archery coaches’ horse and dressed up the doll as my coach.
I had to modify the original pattern to make it longer in the back but the size was already perfect for my head. I also added the withers to sit the doll on. The horse’s mane is an entire, intact, Halloween wig that is glued inside the head. It comes out of a quarter inch slit that runs from the forelock to the withers.

Very nice result Heidi. Very clever to use an Halloween wig, it gives a great effect.
Great hat, Heidi. What an interesting idea! And the little archery doll is perfect tribute to your coach. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. 🙂
