I’ve just started my giraffe head which will be a part of a full body structure. I’m not sure how I’m going to make the rest of the giraffe body it will be an adventure discovering how to make it. So far I have started to cover the structure with newspaper strips, pasted on with border and overlap adhesive. Basically it’s used to stick wallpaper so it works well with paper mache.
Julie, your giraffe looks great already. I can’t wait to see how it looks after the body and legs are added. When it’s done, I hope you can give us some tips on how to do it ourselves. I know a lot of people have done it, but I’ve never tried it myself, and it does look like a challenging, but exciting, project. I hope you’re having fun with it! 🙂
