Ginny, one of our regular readers, sent this photo in her latest email update – and I fell in love with it.  I asked her if I could show you the piece here on my blog, just in case you haven’t signed up for her newsletter. She told me that:

The piece has  a cat, mouse, raccoon, and big brown bear.  I sculpted them from Creative Paperclay, over wire and Styrofoam, painted with acrylics, and sealed with varnish.  They will be available on my page on pfattmarketplace, and here’s the link.

The calico cat and the raccoon are my favorites – don’t they make you happy? Check out her online store to see the other items she’s been making this month.

  1. I am late to the dance – I didn’t even think to check and see comments on my piece which Jonni posted! I am ashamed of myself. With the run up to Christmas, it
was all about getting the house ready for my son and his bride, so I did little else but try to clean the heck out of this place! Thank you to all of you who left such kind comments. They are gratefully appreciated, even if I am acknowledging them one month late! 🙁 Shame on me, and I’ll be more diligent in the future!

    • Hi Ginny. It sounds like you had your hands full – we all understand. (I just took a peek at your website – those dog treats look yummy.)

      • The treats smelled so good! They certainly could be for human consumption, because there was nothing in them which was other than natural. I sent them to my friends in Texas who have two adorable Chesapeake Bay retrievers!

  2. This piece is so cute! I love ’em all, but if I had to pick a favourite I guess it would be the bear, who looks so joyfully expansive it is hard to credit! Really original, adorable holiday decoration.
