Made by Pia Blackwell
She is done for the most part just awaiting base and final coat of varnish . Gigi lived at the Franklin Park Zoo she was 47 years old . Her passing left a big void and when I saw the zoo’s post about her passing ,I made the offer to sculpt her and donate it to the zoo. Here she is ! Face done with Joni’s smooth paper clay hair etc with a cellulose clay I modified from an original recipe.
Gigi is an amazing work of art. Im so glad she is displayed at the zoo so all can see your beautiful work! Congrats!
Beautiful work, beautiful memories, beautiful sentiment.
Gone but not forgotten.
