I made this for Halloween this year!
I think i could have added more detail to the paint, but i wasn’t really sure how to do that without going too far and not liking the finished project. If anyone has suggestions on how to add more of the accent red in without making it look cartoonish, I’d love to hear them!
What I’m really proud of though is the horns! The main two are removable via Magnets, and i added the small two to give it a slightly different look from the original pattern.
Love the horns AND your magnet idea! I too am always fearful that I will mess up a project that I enjoyed creating and ‘sculpting’ with my novice painting skills. I learned a lot from watching Joni’s videos painting one of her owl’s, (sorry, can’t find the link right now.) Your dragon looks amazing…I would wear it proudly!
