“Frankie the Stag” wall art

Made by Katelyn Gonzalez

I used Jonni’s Silky Smooth Clay recipe. The base is tin foil and painters tape. I was trying to make something similar to Frankie the Stag online but for a fraction of the price. I used many different color paints to mimic the brass effect and did a final coat of gloss finishing spray. Thanks to Jonni’s website I had all the help I needed. I am still finding many more videos and info.

  2. What a fun sculpture! And beautifully done. I had never heard of Frankie the Stag, so I had to do a fast online search. I found the book the character is based on, but even the book is expensive! Your sculpture, though, is truly priceless – a real family heirloom, for sure. 🙂
