Made by Katelyn Gonzalez
I used Jonni’s Silky Smooth Clay recipe. The base is tin foil and painters tape. I was trying to make something similar to Frankie the Stag online but for a fraction of the price. I used many different color paints to mimic the brass effect and did a final coat of gloss finishing spray. Thanks to Jonni’s website I had all the help I needed. I am still finding many more videos and info.

Wonderful sculpture! Very whimsical.
Love this!! Is there a pattern?
I did not use a pattern. I used a wooden puzzle deer head thing I found on Amazon for $10 as the base and built up from there. I used clothing hanger wire and tin foil for the antlers.
Thank you Katelyn! I will be on Amazon asap. Hope mine comes out half as nice as yours.
Make sure you let me know when it’s done! I’d love to see it! I’m sure it’ll be awesome!
Love him, the glasses and the pipe , such a wonderful piece
Thanks Lee!
I love it! I’ve never heard of Frankie the Stag either but it doesn’t matter. That sculpture would bring a smile to anyone’s face!
Thank you Pat!
Oh my that’s great jonni is the greatest she’s helped so many. Your deer is great I love it thanks for sharing it katlyn.
Thank you Annette!
What a fun sculpture! And beautifully done. I had never heard of Frankie the Stag, so I had to do a fast online search. I found the book the character is based on, but even the book is expensive! Your sculpture, though, is truly priceless – a real family heirloom, for sure. 🙂
Thank you Jonni. So much fun! Already working on my next one!
