First attempt on Snow White’s friend.

Made by Vicki Hertz

I found Jonni’s site by Pinterest and was so intrigued! It looked like fun! I remember using paper Mache as a child and nothing we had done looked like your beautiful masks. Your little dwarf was just so cute! I usually paint abstracts and portraits so 3d was a BIG challenge for me. I did not use your pattern but generalized your pattern idea on him. I would sculpt more details next time verses trying to paint them on. It took me a long time to finish him as I had trouble getting his feet sorta symmetrical! I’m glad I attempted this and finally got him completed. He will hold down my tv stand as he stands next to the tv. He makes me smile.

  1. He should make you smile! What a great first attempt at 3D! You can tell you are an artist, the paint job is wonderful. I especially liked the eyes and beard. Nice work!
