Made this to wear on Halloween and at other events. I modeled after a character of mine. I definitely struggled at various points in the process, like getting the cardboard pieces to fit together properly, and getting the paper mache clay texture right. Some modifications i made: i glued an old hat to the inside of the cap pieces to make it more secure on my head, used air dry clay for some details, and added faux fur for the mane. I fully intend to remake this some day, hopefully learning from my mistakes.
I love the mane and the way you painted him. If you made any mistakes, I sure can’t see them. I can see from your other sites that you love big cats – is the lion a character in a book you wrote? If not, how would we learn more about him?
