Love this elephant. The first photo has the “torn” ears, and I thought the poor thing has had a long, victorious, and happy life. Then I see they got better in the second.
I’m almost finished with an elephant, and I always paint mine too light. I love the dark color and hope I can dare myself to get past light colors. Thank you very much. I like seeing the process.
Mine doesn’t have the trunk up, of course. I never learn until too late about the good luck thing!
Yes trunk up is a very lucky thing in India, I discovered that elephants just like humans are all different, in colour, shape of ears length of trunk tusks etc, so I kind of free styled it and made it my own.
The paint job on mine is not going well, so I need to take up your style! Thanks.
