Jonni inspired me to make my Dragon. I wanted to try paper mache and found her website with the new and improved recipe. I saw her Dragon and just went for it, on a smaller scale of course. And I think Dragons are cool! I made Dragon Eggs two years ago so now I have a Dragon to go with the Eggs!
The Dragon was my first attempt at paper mache since school. I also used hot glue in the process & painted the eyes using those glass decorative things you put in vases. Jonni is a true inspiration! Thank you for showing us how to play again!
I forgot to ask, how did you make those scales?

Thank you for liking my Dragon! The scales are hot glue…….easy to make. Do a dab of hot glue and blow on it with a straw till it sets. The eyes are easy too. I learned how to make the eyes on YouTube. You can use nail polish like YouTube instructions or acrylic paint. You just have to experiment and have fun with whatever you do.
