This is my tribute to the robots of the 1950’s . It is a mixed media piece with the main components ( the torso and the base ) made from paper mache . Other materials used were cardboard tubes , rubber hair curlers , balsa wood , plastic coffee jars , wire , googly eyes , paper clips and some ball point pens plastic . It was painted with acrylic paint .
