I decided to make each of the grandkids a dog for Christmas. SHHHHH, it’s a secret. This is the first one. She was made using plastics grocery bags and masking tape, foil for the toe nails, paper mache clay, acrylic paint and varnish. One down, six to go.
You make great dogs and they all have such wonderful expressions! Thanks for posting.
What an expression on this Dalmation. Great job on another dog. You have lucky grandkids. Happy to see your new creations.
Thank you! I’m just getting ready to start the dachshund. I’m also thinking about making a schnauzer and a Great Dane puppy. Of course, Leroy thinks I should make a coon dog puppy.
Leroy has it wrong about the coon dog puppy. The only reason I say that is because I knew too many people who went coon hunting, and if the dogs didn’t come back, they left them in the forest or hills. I wasn’t much impressed. They would check a day or two later to see if the coon dogs came back! The rest sound awesome (and the coon dog puppy would be really cute!).
Leroy was appalled that someone would leave their best friend behind in the woods! I’m actually thinking now
of making a shih tzu, probably a puppy with a big pink bow!
Oh my gosh: I almost fell off my chair when I noticed the bear and his catfish dinner in the background. He looks like he’s waiting for the waitress to bring him a fork!
I also did a few pieces that feature 2 figures: they can be very very interesting. I guess it’s the “drama” between the two animals! Good show!
lol. Black Bear Bart and Catfish Charlie are quite popular when we have folks over for dinner. Thank you!!
Only 100 to go. Great work
101 Dalmations is one of my favorites! Thank you, she was fun to make.
