I love this little guy… Made with paper mache. I ended up leaving the brace in across the chin area and then added an extra 3″ or so to the bottom half to change the angle on the wall so it’s not flat and the face details are not so hidden. He is finished with various sizes of macrame cord. I make the eyes and nose out of a lightweight clay and then paint them and finish them with a layer or several of a clear dots product . I enjoyed every moment of making this cutie!

The paper mache technique looks really interesting. How long did it take to create the highland cow?
I got the pattern on Jan 29 this year and started right away. Just finished it when this was posted … So 6 to 7 weeks I think.
