This is inspired by my sisters bulldog who has the biggest nose rope going but is a chicken and a total love. I worked off of photos and Jonni’s directions in her book, especially on the eyes.

What a character he is. The title threw me off until I read your explanation. I love the technique you used for coloring him. Great job!
I really like the way you added color to him! Are those scraps of tissue paper?
I made my own tissue by laying bits of bleeding tissue on white tissue and spraying with water. Both the white and the top bits took on other colors. I found when I sprayed black tissue to soften the color, it would bleed out to the orange which is what is used on Chester’s muzzle. Thanks!
This is so much fun. I love your colors, and the whole thing is over the top. Great.
I don’t know why the “helicopter” works, but it does. I want to see him take off. Thanks for being so creative and awesome.
Thanks, Rex. I debated on the propeller…a lot, so I’m glad you like it. I found the wimpy rod amusing against Chester’s “heft.” I’m always nervous to share, and truly appreciate your kind words.
