This was a much bigger project then what thought it would be. The base is wood, the pole is PVC pipe covered with art foam, and painted gold, the horse is Paper Mache, and the saddle is made of EVA foam and painted with Apple Barrel Acrylic chalk paint. The mane an tail are made of wool. I wanted to use real horse hair but it didn’t work out.

Love it! The shape of your carousel horse is spot-on, I think. I like the way you painted it too. The black brush strokes makes that it has that kind of older look over it, which I love. Well done! 🙂
From the top of his head to the bottom of the stand is about 4 foot and from to the tip of her tail yo the tip of her nose al so about 4 foot.
