I don’t know what possessed me to take on this project. Guess I wanted a challenge. I made six kittens using the same pattern for all of them. You can see in the picture that I kept the “skeletons” very basic and bendy so that I could pose them in different ways. The tails went on at the very end – after I decided on how to place them within the box. Used PM clay to flesh them out and then covered them with colored tissue paper. My plan was to have number six climbing out over the top of lid but someone suggested a mouse (and by then I was very tired of looking at kittens) so I now have a spare kitten.

What a great project, Joanne! I hope your ‘spare’ kitten finds a good home. 🙂
