Hi all, the inspiration came from listing to the owls who live and hunt in the woods and fields that surround my houseboat. It’s made with papier-mâché clay and painted with watercolours then finished with satin wood varnish. Since making the owl it has now gone to an art gallery in Lichfield England and l now am beginning to teach papermache sculpture all thanks to Jonni and her wonderful creations.

Your owl is wonderful! The feathers and talons look great. Using watercolors give the owl a nice soft look. Wonderful job!!
Lovely! I’ve tried making an owl but couldn’t get the shapes quite right. You did an excellent job on this one.
Beautiful owl and nice story….more than one of us has gone the same path…all thanks to Jonni!
