Baby Nellie Ellie, came about in first instance needing a fancy dress for A group ‘ Noah’s Arc’ for Ventnor Carnival IOW UK, THE BETTER DAYS CAFE (Community Hub) entry.
It ended up being doubled (as pattern too small ( for my head!)
My Husband & I worked on this trying to create something for me to wear, she then got turned into Nellie Ellie on Wheels & a whole Baby Elephant was born.
She was going to be pushed around Ventnor, but fell at first hurdle with a malfunction & ended up being strapped to the Cafes Arc. there was kids Who found her very tactile. Pleasing to see.
A great project, we thoroughly enjoyed creating her. Hope you enjoy the pics?

What a wonderful event – the perfect way to show off your lovely elephant. I’m so glad she didn’t suffer any damage in the fall. Did the kids give her hugs? 🙂
