What a wonderful baby elephant! I can’t believe it is your first piece. Please continue doing pm and post your sculptures so we can all enjoy. Thank you and congrats!
Very nice Barbara! I can’t believe it is your first project, with such success, there is bound to be more sculptures coming! I am curious as to how you got the lovely wrinkles on the skin. Did you use pushed around thin paper to achieve them?
Since doing the projects in Jonni’s book on “making animals,” the elephant has very fond memories. I have tried to make a few, but yours is really great. The texture is spectacular and the coloring is great.
I won’t say it is beginner’s luck (sorry) because it shows you have great talent in there. Can’t wait to see other things you do. Wonderful project. I’ll have to add it on my ever-growing list!
