I’ve been looking for a faux moose head for my man cave, but couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. Eventually I came across this site and watched some of Ms. Jonni’s videos. I previously had fun decorating a (purchased) paper mache deer head so thought I’d give it a try.
It was time consuming but lots of fun.
The antlers are the only area I deviated from the pattern. Since I went with big antlers, I had to reinforce the support with a wire hanger. I have pictures of that step in the process if anyone is interested.
Once I finished with the mache process, I decided to paint it with an Auburn University theme.
This was a very fun project, and I can’t thank Ms. Jonni enough for a great pattern with fantastic step-by-step instructions!
