Just thought I’d share how I make glass eyes.
Matte gesso base on watercolor paper. Watercolor your eyes. Hole punch the watercolor layer. Add a touch of Diamond Glaze to attach two parts of paper. Then add a healthy glob of Diamind Glaze to the paper layer then drop a clean cabochon on top.
If you to it right, it will push any tiny bubbles out the side as it seals. Leave to cure, then buff your new glass eyes with a glasses cleaner rag.

Thank you, Shane – this looks much easier than the way I tried to do it. And I love the idea of using the hole punch! 🙂
