This is my second oatmeal box piggy bank. I used alum. foil to build out the head and feet and then covered everything with PM clay. In honor of the end of penny production, once I finished I gathered up all the stray pennies I could find (about $5 worth) and tossed them in. Maybe someday a penny will be actually be worth more than a penny.
What a great idea! We all have some pennies lying around, and using an oatmeal box for a base is perfect. Thanks for showing it to us. 🙂
