This is paper mache on an 14″x18″ canvas board . I made the tiles by gluing several sheets of watercolor paper together , painting rock patterns on them and then cutting the tiles ( as needed ) . The bird is paper mache ( pulp type ) with tiled wings . The legs are toothpicks wrapped with paper .
