Made by Kristen Druckenbrodt
Since moving from the big city to the Texas Hill Country, I’ve been obsessed with all of the wildlife. But the jackrabbits are my favorite! I had never created anything with papier-mache, so when I saw Jonni’s jack pattern, I knew I had to give it a try. I didn’t trust myself to paint it, so I covered mine with fabric strips and glued it down with Mod Podge. Once the base fabric was on, it took on a life of its own and began to beg for fringe ear hair, a butterfly on the nose and crossed eyes. Such a fun project! Thanks for the inspiration, Jonni!
Really original! Well done!
I love it, Kristin! The fabric was a perfect choice, and the butterfly was a fun choice. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. 🙂
