Jonni with Toucan mask

I borrowed the bright colors from a Plate-Billed Mountain Toucan, but the mask is made to fit a human head, so some of the color spots aren’t where they are on the real bird. And I added some white lines around the color shapes, just to make them stand out more.

In other words, I used the Plate-Billed Mountain Toucan as inspiration, and then used my imagination – just like you’ll probably do when you make your own mask. ๐Ÿ™‚

If you make a bird mask – or anything else – be sure to come back to the Daily Sculptors Page to show it off. We’d love to see how it turns out. ๐Ÿ™‚
