I’ve been meaning to post this for a couple of years now. It was created for the Loughton Scarecrow trail on Milton Keynes United Kingdom in 2022. It was a great success. It won’t 3rd place and was highly commended. Thank you for the pattern. I added false eyelashes and multi coloured lights that lit up at night. And I kept the scarecrow up for 3 months after the competition due to popular demand! I only took it down when it started melting apart due to the continuous British weather! I hope you like my interpretation. I’m not sure if my pictures are upload as doing on my mobile phone. I have more pictures. So very difficult to choose just 3!
I also built this for my daughter Freya who was 5 at the time and created the giraffe legs using her swing. Had the whole neighbourhood on my front porch every night giving it a go!
Great giraffe, Julian. I can see why the neighbors were so excited about it. I love the idea of a giraffe scarecrow! 🙂
